Nick Lends His Support to St James’ World Cup Bid
Nick Brown today joined Newcastle United players past and present in support of NewcastleGateshead’s bid to be a host city if England is awarded the 2018 World Cup.
On the day stars from Peter Beardsley to Steven Taylor backed calls to bring World Cup football to Tyneside, Newcastle East MP Nick Brown said: “St James’ Park is one of the best stadiums in the country. This would be a great venue for world cup games, and a great tourist visit as well.”
