Church High Junior School Council Elections
Nick today visited Church High Junior School in Jesmond to announce the results of their first ever school council elections.
Nick said: “The enthusiasm and commitment to the Church High Junior School Council is really impressive. I think it’s great that young people are being encouraged to debate issues that matter to the school and to learn how a democracy works through an election process. Every election campaign requires thought and planning, encouragement and persuasion. I have nothing but praise for this exciting initiative.”
