Cervical screening coverage is at a 21-year low in England, with more than one in four women not attending a screening when invited. This is despite the fact that screening prevents 75% of cervical cancers from developing and two women die every day in the UK from cervical cancer.

I attended an event in Parliament run by Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust as part of Cervical Cancer Prevention Week to help raise awareness amongst Parliamentarians about how women can reduce their risk of cervical cancer.
