We had the pleasure of welcoming the Leader of the Labour Party, Jeremy Corbyn, to Newcastle East. During the meeting, Jeremy spoke about the work of the Labour Party in Parliament to oppose the Tory Government, the importance of electing Labour councillors and the upcoming local elections. He also took questions and posed for photos. It is not every day that the Leader of the Labour Party visits our constituency and I hope everyone who attended the event enjoyed the afternoon.
