Nick Brown MP MP for Newcastle upon Tyne East
Remembrance Day commemorations this year carried extra significance as the 11th November marked 100 years since the armistice was signed between the Allied Powers and Germany, ending the fighting on the western front during the First World War. I joined the other Newcastle MPs, Catherine McKinnell and Chi Onwurah, and members of the public in paying my respects at the Newcastle city war memorial to those who have lost their lives fighting for British values.
