This year’s Labour Party Conference was held in Brighton. Labour Party Conference is a busy time for all involved. It is also a great opportunity to meet with a wide range of organisations and charities to discuss the important work that they are doing. This Conference I was pleased to have time to meet with: Cancer Research UK, the Co-operative Party, the CWU, the Alzheimer’s Society, Action on Hearing Loss, the Falkland Islands, the GMB, Google, the National Farmers Union, the Public and Commercial Services Union, the Guide Dogs Association, the Trade Union Congress, UNISON, Unite, the Urban Transport Group, USDAW, and WASPI.

I also met with representatives from a number of embassies to discuss the current state of the Brexit negotiations, the relationship between the UK and their respective nation and the Labour Party vision of a country that works for everyone.
