I joined the World’s biggest coffee morning in support of Macmillan cancer support. Macmillan is a charity working to achieve the best care for people living with cancer. They are currently campaigning for action to reduce the backlog of cancer treatment and diagnosis caused by the pandemic. At the event I was able to talk with NHS professionals and survivors to understand their perspective. I support their call for more specialist cancer nurses.
