Ahead of World Parkinson’s Day I met with representatives from Parkinson’s UK and those who live with the disease to hear directly about their experiences and how we can advance care for sufferers. I learnt how the pandemic had a significant impact on the Parkinson’s community. They faced cancelled medical appointments and reduced access to care which has led to worsening symptoms. I will continue to support them.
